Update on the Ko Kwai Fun Memorial Fund

As of today, we have received a total donation of HK$95,337.50 equivalent for the Ko Kwai Fun Memorial Fund (KKF Fund). This amount includes contributions in Canadian, US and Hong Kong dollars, from Kwai Fun's friends in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, USA, and Hong Kong. We are most grateful for the warm and supportive response. It reflects how much Kwai Fun means to all of us and how much we cherish her memory.

All the contributions received so far have been sent through our volunteers in Canada (Chen Leung Bing and Tessie Leung), US (Wong Pik Chong) and Hong Kong (Pun Shing Fan). At this point, we expect to bring the initial phase of the collection of contributions to a close by the end of March. Donations in Canadian, US and Hong Kong dollars may continue to be sent to our volunteers until March 31, 2010. After that date, we will do a final accounting of the total contributions received by us, and then officially hand over to BPS the administration of the KKF Fund. There is no deadline for sending donations directly to BPS.
